When will I get my order?

Stained glass and other art: Everything is that is marked “ready to ship” will ship within 1-3 business days. I usually ship USPS First Class Mail unless otherwise stated, which typically takes 3-5 business days. If you are wanting expedited shipping, please email me and I will set that up for you.

Clothing: Usually, it takes 3–7 days to fulfill an order, after which it’s shipped out. The shipping time depends on your location, but is usually 3-4 business days.

Do you ship outside of the USA?

At this time, no. It is too expensive and difficult.

Why is your shipping so expensive?

It is. I know. I’m sorry. Shipping glass is just super expensive. I pack stained glass in the box-within-a-box method, meaning I securely box the stained glass piece and then put that box in a bigger box surrounded by a thick layer of packing peanuts. This is the safest way to ship glass, but it is cumbersome and expensive because the packages end up quite large.

If there are shipping over-charges, I will gladly refund you the extra amount.

Where will my order ship from?

Brightfire Artworks is in Pacific Grove, California. All products, other than clothing, ships directly from my Pacific Grove, California location.

Clothing items: I work with an on-demand order fulfillment company, they have several US locations.

My order should be here by now, but I still don't have it. What should I do?

Before getting in touch with me, please help me out by doing the following:

● Check your shipping confirmation email for any mistakes in the delivery address

● Ask your local post office if they have your package

● Stop by your neighbors in case the courier left the package with them

If the shipping address was correct, and the package wasn't left at the post office or at your neighbor’s, get in touch with me at brightfire.artworks@gmail.com with your order number.

If you did find a mistake in your delivery address, please email me and we will come up with a solution together.

Orders

How are your products made?

Clothing: I work with a print-on-demand drop shipper. Your orders are printed and shipped from the facility depending on your location.

Stained Glass and other art: Everything is made in my studio in Pacific Grove by me, Erica.

How do I track my order?

You’ll receive a tracking link via email when your order ships out. If you have any questions about your tracking or shipment, drop me a line at brightfire.artworks@gmail.com

I received a wrong/damaged product, what should I do?

I’m so sorry if the product you ordered arrived damaged. To help me resolve this for you quickly, please email me at brightfire.artworks@gmail.com within a weeks' time with photos of the damaged product, your order number, and any other details you may have about your order. I’ll get back to you with a resolution as soon as possible!

I’m local to the Monterey Peninsula. Do you offer local pick up?

Yes! Sometimes I even hand-deliver if you are nearby, but I will gladly drop off your order at The Vague Collection in downtown Pacific Grove and you can pick it up at your convenience during her open business hours. At checkout, select Local Pick Up and I will contact you to work that out.

Returns

What’s your return policy?

I don’t offer returns and exchanges, but if there’s something wrong with your order, please let me know by contacting me at brightfire.artworks@gmail.com

Do you offer refunds?

Refunds are only offered to customers that receive the wrong items or damaged items. If any of these apply, please contact me at Brightfire.artworks@gmail.com with photos of wrong/damaged items and I’ll sort that out for you.

Can I exchange an item for a different size/color?

At this time, I don't offer exchanges. Clothing: If you’re unsure which size would fit better, check out the sizing charts—I have one for every item listed on the store, in the product description section. Though rare, it's possible that an item you ordered was mislabelled. If that’s the case, please let me know at Brightfire.artworks@gmail.com within a week after receiving your order. Include your order number and photos of the mislabeled item, and I’ll send you a new one,.. or issue a refund!

  1. Introduction BrightFire Artworks ("we", "us", "our") operates brightfireart.com (the "Site"). We respect your privacy and provide this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use, disclose, and secure personal information when you visit or make purchases on the Site.

  1. Acceptance By using brightfireart.com (the "Site") and/or purchasing products, you agree to these Terms of Use ("Terms"). If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

  2. About the Business The Site is operated by BrightFire Artworks, a California seller of stained glass art and jewelry. All references to "we", "us", or "our" mean BrightFire Art.

  3. Orders and Pricing

  • Product descriptions, prices, and availability are subject to change without notice.

  • We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order for reasons including product or pricing errors, suspected fraud, or inability to fulfill.

  • Sales tax will be added where required by law (California sales tax applies where applicable).

  • You agree to provide accurate payment and billing information.

  1. Payment We accept payments through third-party processors (e.g., Stripe, PayPal). Payments are subject to the processors’ terms. You authorize us to charge your payment method for purchases and applicable taxes, shipping, and fees.

  2. Shipping & Delivery

  • Shipping costs, carriers, and estimated delivery times are shown during checkout.

  • Risk of loss and title pass to you when we deliver items to the carrier.

  • International customers are responsible for duties and import taxes.

  1. Returns, Exchanges & Refunds

  • Our return policy: No refunds or returns, custom or commissioned items are non-returnable.

  • Refunds issued after inspection; original shipping may be non-refundable. Customer may be responsible for return shipping unless item is defective or we made an error.

  1. Intellectual Property

  • All content on the Site (text, images, designs, logos, product photos, and site design) is owned or licensed by BrightFire Artworks and protected by copyright, trademark, and other laws.

  • You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, create derivative works, or commercially exploit our content without our written permission.

  • If you submit user content (reviews, photos), you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, reproduce, modify, publish, and display such content in connection with our business and marketing.

  1. User Conduct You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for unlawful purposes.

  • Post content that is defamatory, abusive, obscene, or infringes others’ rights.

  • Interfere with Site operations or security.

  1. Disclaimers

  • Products may contain variations in color and appearance due to handcrafted processes and screen differences.

  • ALL PRODUCTS ARE PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE." TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, WE DISCLAIM ALL WARRANTIES, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, AND NON-INFRINGEMENT.

  1. Limitation of Liability

  • TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, BRIGHTFIRE ARTWORKS SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, EXEMPLARY, OR CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES (INCLUDING LOST PROFITS) ARISING FROM USE OF THE SITE OR PRODUCTS.

  • OUR AGGREGATE LIABILITY FOR DIRECT DAMAGES IS LIMITED TO THE AMOUNT YOU PAID FOR THE PRODUCT(S) GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

  1. Indemnification You agree to indemnify and hold BrightFire Artworks and its affiliates harmless from claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, misuse of the Site, or violation of laws or third-party rights.

  2. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

  • These Terms are governed by California law, without regard to conflict-of-law provisions.

  • For any dispute, you and we agree to negotiate in good faith. If unresolved, the parties agree to binding arbitration in California under the rules of the selected arbitration provider, except where prohibited. Small claims court may be used for eligible claims.

  1. Termination We may suspend or terminate your access to the Site for violations of these Terms or for other lawful reasons. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will survive (e.g., intellectual property, indemnification, limitation of liability).

  2. Changes to Terms We may modify these Terms at any time. Continued use after posting changes constitutes acceptance. For material changes, we will attempt to provide notice.
