A hand-painted butterfly is the centerpiece to this simple yet beautiful sun catcher. This would make a great gift for the butterfly lover in your life! Made using the copper foil method, each piece of glass is meticulously cut, ground down, and wrapped in copper foil. Then a thick layer of solder is laid down over the copper, acting as the ‘glue’ to hold it all together. The edge of this piece has a nice twisted wire detail.

This piece measures 6” wide and 4” tall and hangs on a black leather cord. I recommend hanging glass suncatchers from a nail above your window for best results.
