Camas Prairie Landscape
This prairie scene is an homage to my Idaho roots and was designed based off of my memories of Camas Prairie Centennial marshlands on Highway 20 just west of Fairfield, Idaho. I made this piece using the copper foil technique and has a sturdy zinc frame. This landscape is crafted from a lime green textured glass representing the prairie, blue streaky glass for the creek, mountains made of purple and turquoise blue waterglass that refracts an incredible pattern in the light, and my favorite opal glass that depicts the sky and its glorious sunset.
This square shaped art is intended to place either on a bookshelf, above the mantle, or on the windowsill as if it were a painting.
